Bob Marley & The Wailers – Lively Up Yourself (Live) (Eagle Vision)

The unforgettable live version of this classic initially released in 1972 on Bob Marley’s Tuff Gong label (see pic) and 2 years after featured on the ‘Natty Dread’ album which, for the first time, saw the participation of Bob‘s wife, Rita Marley, Marcia Griffiths and Judy Mowatt as The I-Threes. A destined to make you feel good song that Marley would often perform to open his concerts as a warm up.
This live recording is taken from the ‘Uprising Tour’ that run from the end of May until September 1980. This would be his last tour before his sadly early passing in May 1981 at the age of 36, although nothing could predict this back then, judging by this vibrant and energetic performance…
