C&C Music Factory feat. Freedom Williams – Gonna Make You Sweat (Everybody Dance Now)

In the footsteps of production pairs such as Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards, Louie vega and Kenny Dope, not to mention David Morales and Frankie Knuckles, the late David Cole, who sadly passed some 21 years ago at the early age of 32, and Robert Clivilles, left a considerable legacy in the history of Dance Music as remixers (Natalie Cole‘s ‘Pink Cadillac’, Mariah Carey‘s ‘Emotions’, Aretha Franklin‘s ‘A Deeper Love’…) and producers (Seduction, 2 Puerto Ricans, A Blackman And A Dominican)and under their C&C Music Factory guise).
Taken from their 1990 released album of the likes which marked their debut, its title track stands as one of their biggest classics, featuring rapper Freedom Williams along with Deborah Cooper, Martha Wash, Norma Jean Wright and Zelma Davis among others as backing vocalists…
I remember how shocked I felt while on my way back from Cannes’ MIDEM on Jan. 24, 1995, when being reported David passed, his production partner soon after announcing this was from complications from spinal meningitis brought on by AIDS.
