Ed The Red feat. Vivian Lee – Music Is So Wonderful (Fierce Disco 2016 Mix) (Bottom Line Records)

To those what had the chance to witness this back in the day, Edward ‘Ed The Red’ Golstman‘s Bottom Line Records is synonymous with some of the most infectious pieces of Jersey Sound (also known as Garage!) one may think of. From the overwhelming ‘Do Me Right’ by the likes of Secret Lovers, to Barbara Dixon‘s ‘Wanna Be Your Lover’ and Devastating‘s ‘Tell Me What’.
Hailing from Alabama, Vivian Lee would give the label its biggest classic back in 1986, with the heavy support of Tony Humphries at the Zanzibar.
Gary Van den Bussche of the DSG Music label, then distributing imports in the UK, eventually licensed it back in the early 90’s to give it extra remixes on his own Wizz Records label. And this is just how he came to suggest Ed to revamp this gem. The aptly titled percussive Fierce Disco 2016 Mix due to be released later on this month as a part of A full pack of remixes including some already available from Traxsource and a couple of extra ones by George Lockett and Harry Soto.
You don’t wanna miss that one, and neither did we…
