Certainly the biggest success productionwise for Denzil Foster & Thomas McElroy (Club Nouveau, Toni, Tony, Toné!), this California-based female quartet comprising Cindy Herron, Maxine Jones, Dawn Robinson and Terry Ellis back at the time was put together with the aim to get them as the contemporary response to Motown famous The Supremes while melting classic soul style vocals with street beats.
