G.U. – Forever Love (Strictly Jaz Unit)

First Listen! G.U. – Forever Love (Strictly Jaz Unit)
So sweet and delicate… these are the first adjectives comin’ to mind when gettin’ to have a listen to this new production by the likes of Glenn Underground, in a brilliant jazzy & groovy style leavin’ the necessary space to enlighten Keesh Future‘s silky vocal performance of this heartfelt spiritual song.

Touching the Grail once again, these peeps talk (serious) music and nothing else! ‘Forever Love’? No doubt!

Overview
With many musicians in his family, Chicago born Glenn Underground embraced a myriad of sounds from an early age. He would get extra inspiration from luminaries such as Ron Hardy, Larry Heard and Lil’ Louis back at a time – the mid-80’s – when House Music appeared. Something one could instantly feel when having a listen to his own productions. Be they dealing with Jazz, Soul, Funk, Disco vibes or eventually all of them.

A founding member of the Strictly Jaz Unit alongside Boo Williams, Glenn has produced some of the most well respected pieces of Deep House of the last decades. His releases for Prescription, Guidance and Peacefrog have set the standard for sophisticated Dance Music. He is one of the very rare DJ’s who can walk the line between Deep Jazz House, Disco influenced House, and the kind of classics featured at the memorable parties of late 70’s Chicago.
