Juliet Roberts – I Want You (Cooltempo)

Originally recording as Julie Roberts, Juliet Roberts appeared for the first time back in 1982 performing ‘It’s Over’ by the Funkmasters. She would join UK Jazz band working Week two years after, eventually collaborating with DMC producer Les Adams on his L.A. Mix guise, then as a part of her partnership with D-Mob producer Daniel Kwadwo Addai Poku, better known as Dancin’ Danny D, she would provide vocals for Dannii Minogue, prior resurfacing on her own as a Dance Music artist with this classic of hers taken from her 1994 released album. One of her biggest successes along with ‘Caught Up In The Middle’.
Roberts is also remembered for her collaboration with British Jazzman Courtney Pine OBE on the outstanding although sadly underrated ‘Life Goes Round’, from his 1992 released ‘To The Eyes of The Creation’ album…
