Moloko – Familiar Feeling (Acoustic Session) (no label)

“I Keep forgetting we’re not in love anymore, I keep forgetting things will never be the same again…” As many words that would stand as a statement putting an end to both the lovin’ relationship and the collaboration between Mark Brydon and Róisín Murphy on the 2002 released ‘Statues’ album that was to be their very last as Moloko. A song that would get a brand new dimension when given this acoustic version – not to be missed with the official Plankton’s Country Slice Remix released the year after on a folky mood – therefore leavin’ more space to Murphy‘s interpretation, on a way downtempoed mood embedding the key line of Michael McDonald‘s classic ‘I Keep Forgetting’, equally for much on the recognition of Warren G‘s ‘Regulate’ back in the mid 90’s…
No info as to who recorded/mixed/remixed it despite heavy researches, apart from the fact that it has been delivered back then along with other acoustic takes of classics such as ‘Forever More’, ‘Sing It Back’ and ‘The Time Is Now’…
