Bob Dylan – Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door (Columbia)

Bob Dylan‘s contribution in the maturation of the contemporary music is unvaluable. One of the most talented writers of his generation, his songs which delivered political, social, and philosophical messages literally broke the conventions at the time and contributed to the establishment of a counterculture in the 60’s.
On a lighter subject though, one of his signature songs remains the aforementioned, taken from the memorable 1973 Sam Peckinpah directed Western ‘Pat Garrett & Billy The Kid’ where he also happened to play as an actor along with James Coburn and Kris Kristofferson
