Faith Evans – You Used To Love Me

Classics: Faith Evans – You Used To Love Me (Bad Boy Entertainment)

A backup vocalist for Al B. Sure! and Christopher Williams, one might remember Faith Evans as the first female artist whom Sean ‘Puff Daddy’ Combs signed on his Bad Boy Entertainment label back in 1994.

From her ‘Faith’ album, ‘You Used To Love Me’, her debut-single, showcased one of the most sensitive singers of her generation. With production work by the likes of Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and Chucky Thompson. It most likely had that je ne sais quoi of a premonitory thang. And this until his sudden death in a unsolved drive-by shooting in Los Angeles 3 years later…
