Gloria Gaynor – Never Can Say Goodbye (MGM)

Gloria Gaynor made her way into history as one of the first performers embracing Disco in the mid-70’s.
Intended to be sung by the Supremes and finally given to the Jackson 5, the title cut from her 1975 released album of the likes being one of her signature cuts (along with ‘Honey Bee’ and her cover version of the Holland/Dozier/Holland written ‘Reach Out I’ll Be There’ both from the same package in addition to ‘I Will Survive’ released 3 years after).
Produced by Meco Menardo (also remembered as Meco) with mixing work courtesy of Tom Moulton, it’s better having the album version which is featured as full length as opposed to the 7 inch…
