Tennerz: Hannah White – Sunny Day (Mont Plonc Remix) (DSG Music)
Hmmm, what another smoothie courtesy of DSG Music. A jam which carries all the ingredients which have contributed to the reputation of this British indie label. In other words, a purveyor of classy jams!
Is this uptempo Soul, is this some kind of updated Disco, is this sophisticated jazzy House Music??? Well, most likely a bit of everything. With British singer Hannah White absolutely shining on this magestically arranged and orchestrated joint.
‘Sunny Day’ is undoubtedly a title that speaks for itself. Synonymous with seasonal vibes. With deep synths, Disco horns, vibraphone and a blowing jazzy sax part over an irresistible rhythm pattern.
Sunny… That’s just the way it is. And timelessly enlightening. One of the 2016 stapples!
Missed it, back then? Feel free to give it a listen and let us know what you think!
