Jean-Paul Gaultier – How To Do That (In A New Way) (Fontana)

The creative director of Hermès from 2003 to 2010, Jean-Paul Gaultier came to recognition back in the mid-70’s, contrasting with the ambient conservatism that would prevail in the French Couture back at the time.
Considered by some editorials as decadent back then, his contribution to the evolution of this discipline has nevertheless hardly an equivalent, therefore makin’ of him a one of a kind creator who would meet the favors of Grace Jones and Madonna among many others.
Like ever open-minded cat per definition he would embrace almost everything, including music, releasing the Housey ‘How To Do That’ back in 1988 on Fontana Records from which came one of the first ever single-titled remix albums ‘Aow Tou Dou Zat’ soon after, as supported by a video directed by Jean Baptiste Mondino.
