Mr. A.L.I. & Vick Lavender – Save Me (Vintage Mix)

Lost but not least! Mr. A.L.I. & Vick Lavender – Save Me (Vintage Mix) (Unified Records)

No video available for this, but instead a player!

From Chicago defunct imprint Unified Records. In other words, a label responsible for some of the most outstanding pieces of music back in the second half of the last decade… Vick Lavender on his Mr. A.L.I. guise alongside Jere McAllister. The guys RSVPin’ us for a fascinating dive into the very matrix of the depth on the percussive psychedelic ‘Save Me’. A cut standing as an unlikely meeting between Carlos Santana‘s famous guitar rides and T-Connection‘s classic ‘Do What You Wanna Do’ rhythm part. Meanwhile somehow reminding of Bongo Maffin‘s ‘Mari Ye Phepha’ as remixed by Dennis Ferrer.
11 minutes + of total hypnosis!

Into Joe Clausell or Ron Trent‘s experiments? We know you’re gonna dig this!
