Narada Michael Walden – Billionaire On Soul Street (Tarpan Records)

In the footsteps of Chic‘s recent return after a 23 year hiatus, here we go with another famous face for the same period, by the likes of Narada Michael Walden, remembered for his unique production style for peeps such as Sister Sledge, Aretha Franklin, Stacy Lattisaw, Angela Bofill and Margie Joseph among others…
Remembered under his own banner for gems such as ‘I Don’t Want Nobody Else To Dance With You’, ‘I Shoulda Loved Ya’ or ‘I Want You’, the singer/drummer would embrace a new direction soon after the release of the memorable ‘Divine Emotions’ back in 1988 and focus on new artists with is own label(s).
Well, the good news is that the man is obviously back to where he left with this uplifting jam, celebrating his happiness of having a family (a wife and two kids) at this time of his life, as an appetizer to his new album due for release in October…
