Smokey Robinson – Just To See Her (Motown)

The contribution of Smokey Robinson to the maturation of Soul Music is just priceless. From his early days as the front man of The Miracles, to his upbringing to legendary label Motown Records as its Vice President. Not to mention his songwriting work (‘Ooo Baby Baby’, ‘Going To A Go-Go’, ‘My Guy’, among many others) and his career as a solo artist…
We catch him back in 1986 on this glamorous swingalong penned by Jimmy George and Lou Pardini, as the opening cut to the ‘One HeartBeat’ album. A song that would reach position #2 on the R&B chart and hit #1 on the Adult Contemporary chart.
