Steve ‘Silk’ Hurley & The Voices Of Life feat. Sharon Pass – The Word Is Love (Silk’s Anthem Of Life) (Silk Entertainment)

On radio jock on WBMX in the first half of the 80’s, Steve ‘Silk’ Hurley is among the ones who’ve given birth to Chicago House some 30 years ago. Ironically, be it on his own as along with Keith Nunally under the JM Silk guise, his discography in terms of albums reamins quite limited in comparison to his single account and even more his numerous contributions that made of him the most prolific remixer of the XXth Century!
We catch him back in 1997 along with singer Sharon Pass on what would be the one and only single under the Voices Of Life moniker. An obvious reminder of the Disco sound such as delivered by Gino Soccio, although using a sample of 1979 released Sam-Jam‘s one off ‘Dance And Chant’ released on Canadian label Les Disques Martin…
