Urbanized feat. Silvano – Helpless (The Kenlou Remix)

Lost but not least! Urbanized feat. Silvano – Helpless (The Kenlou Remix) (Maxi Records)

Destinies may happen to be different from one person to another. Take a look for instance at ‘Helpless (I Don’t Know What To Do Without You)’ by the likes of Urbanized feat. Silvano. As a matter of fact, it started it all for its producers. In other words, John Ciafone and Lem Springsteen who were to make themselves a serious reputation as Mood II Swing. Meanwhile it would be more of less a one off for singer Silvano Nieves despite an obvious talent. And last but not least, it reinforced the credit of Louie Vega and Kenny Dope aka Kenlou on the remix front.

More than 20 years have gone since the release of ‘Helpless’ and it still sounds so vibrant. Most likely standing as one of the definitive highlights in Claudia Cusetta‘s Maxi Records repertoire. With that something one could find as well the year after on Björk‘s ‘Violently Happy’ which the Masters At Work also happened to remix under their Kenlou guise.
