WMC 2015: Terry Ronald – What The Child Needs (A Tom Moulton Mix) (Dig Productions)

Terry Maxwell Ronald is no new comer. An author, singer, songwriter and producer, his name is associated with many artists, from Kylie Minogue, her sister (Danii), Kim Wilde and Sheena Easton, to name but a few…
As an artist himself, this song, taken from his 1991 released ‘Roma’ album on MCA is probably his biggest classic ever, delivered with remixes courtesy of Paul Waller, Soul City, Simon Dunmore (Defected Records, mastermind) and Don Mitchell along with Nigel Lowis.
It is now given a new life by the likes of the latter, in a mood quite close to his original work. But also Tom Moulton whose signature is synonymous with refinement in terms of arrangements, with the vocals courtesy of Linda Lewis and Sylvia Mason James definitely off the hook!
A timeless Soul/Dance anthem in perspective sounding like the soundtrack of this upcoming Spring, and why not a possible contender during the next WMC in Miami…
